Master Builders SA can assist its members in managing the many environmental issues associated with the building and construction industry.
The Environmental Protection Act 1993 Section 25, states; "A person must not undertake an activity that pollutes, or might pollute, the environment unless the person takes all reasonable and practical measures to prevent or minimise any resulting environmental harm."
It is the responsibility of all trade contractors, manufacturers and suppliers operating within the building and construction industry to minimise impact on our environment and implement environmental protection procedures. Authorities now regularly monitor worksites and builders face on the spot fines for non compliance.
Master Builders SA provide practical training courses for members that focus on the most appropriate methods of compliance. Members wishing to know more about Environmental protection policies, practises or methods are encouraged to contact the Development and Technical Manager for further information. Call 08 8211 7466 or email email@example.com.
