Nathan impressed the panel with his business acumen. He started his business after leaving the army and has developed it into a high-performing commercial construction company. He has successfully built two companies from the ground up, completing projects ahead of time with good client relationships. His ability to develop and implement business strategies and deliver on them has made him a successful builder.

Winner - Ross Caddey, Hansen Yuncken Pty Ltd

Ross has over 25 years solid experience within the building and construction industry incorporating tower and mobile cranes, steel erection, pre-cast panel erection, plan reading and staff management as well as general administration skills. He is self-motivated, diligent, committed, reliable and trustworthy. One of his outstanding attributes is the ability to combine patience, determination and persistence to troubleshoot issues as they arrive.

Paul oversees the business development and planning strategies for the company and he is a respected member of the building and construction industry in South Australia.

Michael Kregar Building is a local Riverland contractor who obtained Cat 3 pre-qualification to tender for this project. The building has been constructed to a very high standard with particular attention to detail on the quality finishes. Michael Kregar engaged predominently local trades and business and used the project ot provide traineeships resulting in a positive legacy for the area.

Sarah worked closely with Wilderness School to plan and execute the construction of three distinctly different and complex stages of simultaneous construction in the heart of the school.
