South Australia has recently undertaken two reviews of its Security of Payment laws. The review of the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2009 by retired District Court Judge Alan Moss, which was completed in February 2015...The State Government took no action as a result of this review.

The second review, undertaken by Small Business Commissioner John Chapman, produced a more unified response.
